Why filter combination is important?

Because of the limitations in design, refrigerated dryer usually faces difficulty in reattainment of moisture in the line. This occurs as a result of the moisture separator which separates only bigger oil and moisture droplets and permits aerosols/mist to skip downstream lines. Therefore, to enhance the quality of air up to 99.999% efficiency.

Heatless Air Dryer

The existence of oil, moisture and dust particles in compressed air is acknowledged for industrial applications. With the progress of technology and the indication of sophisticated and contemporary machinery working on compressed air, the utilization of the recommended quality class of air according to the manufacturer of the machines or International Standard Organization or Pneurope recommendation has become essential. Drytech heatless air dryer with the use of filtered, dry air as advised above leads to less wear and tear, enhanced machine uptime, lower rejections, superior product quality and most importantly considerable energy saving.

  • Functioning on the principle of ADSORP- Therefore preventing the entrainment of moisture in the pipeline however long it may be.
  • The most convenient skid-mounted unit provided in the READY FOR USE state by connecting compressed air at the inlet and outlet.
  • The stationary working system needs negligible maintenance. Guaranteed atmospheric dew point equal to (-) 40 deg. C. or (-) 70 deg C as necessary.

Drytech Air Drying Unit

HD series (Heatless) type supplies quality class of air in demand according to different recommendations for varied pneumatic applications.

The stationary air drying unit demanding minor maintenance, lesser operating cost and a prolonged service life is the ideal choice for pneumatically operated machines which require purified compressed air.

Moisture Separators

The moisture present in compressed air advances into the separator in a tangent manner and then travels forward and passes through baffles which eventually leads to the spinning of air around the inner separator pipe. The droplets of water are impinged on the separator wall by this centrifugal activity.

This process segregates the water droplets from the air. Here, the speed of air achieves its maximum point at the bottom of the separator. Then, the air enters the inner pipe causing the change of direction, and ultimately the droplets separate. The air flows through the demister pad, where the moisture separates in wire mesh and the tiny droplets separate and get gathered at the bottom of the separator.

The device is designed in an advanced manner focusing on the impingement principle and its fundamental function is to separate the bulk quantity of bigger oil and moisture droplets from compressed air. The separated oil and moisture get successfully collected in the sump and then get competently drained out by providing an appropriate drain at the bottom.

Housing is successfully manufactured and examined to function at 16 bar (max) working pressure at max 60°C temperature. Drytech Filters with higher temperatures can also be provided according to customer requirements. End conn. supplied upto model 007 is BSP female.

End conn. supplied for model 009 V and onward are of flanges ASA-150# or according to the customer’s choice.

All models are provided with manual drain. Auto drain is optional at extra cost.
